Event Details:

As part of the Creat Lakes Waterfront Trail Adveture, Township of Severn is hosting a rest stop (restrooms, water station, light snacks) at the Coldwater Arena -11 Michael Anne Dr, Coldwater, ON L0K 1E0. Cyclists can park their bike at the Arena and take a walk down to Coldwater's lovely main street.

Pick up a lunch from one of the Coldwater restaurants/cafes and bring it to the Arena to eat it picnic style . Coldwater has the following lunch and coffee options:

• Subway
• Em’s Cafe
• Tiffany Restaurant
• Riverhouse restaurant
• Riverside Hideaway
• The Old Familiar

From Coldwater cyclists will follow the Uhtoff Trail into Orillia. The Uhtoff Trail is unpaved and can be a little overgrown although it does offer a firm and safe surface for cycling. Be prepared to be accompanied by butterflies as you ride down this section of trail and keep your eyes peeled for turtles crossing the trail.
